QR Code Generator
Turn any text or URL into a downloadable QR code. Adjust the size, error-correction level, and foreground/background colors, or drop a logo image on top for a branded code. Everything renders instantly on canvas in your browser and exports as a PNG.

How it works
- 1
Type or paste the text or URL you want to encode.
- 2
Pick a size, error-correction level, and foreground/background colors.
- 3
Optionally upload a logo to overlay in the center of the code.
- 4
Download the finished QR code as a PNG image.
More than a plain black-and-white square
Most free QR generators lock you into black modules on a white background. This tool lets you match your brand colors and even add a logo, while still producing a code that scans reliably by automatically adjusting the error-correction level.
Built for print and digital use
Because the code is rendered on an HTML canvas at the resolution you choose, you can export a QR code large enough for posters and packaging, not just a tiny web thumbnail.
Pair it with a tracked link
A QR code on a flyer or storefront sign is only as useful as the link behind it. Build the destination URL in our UTM builder first so scans show up as their own channel in your analytics, then generate the code here from that finished link.
Frequently asked questions
What does the error-correction level do?
It controls how much of the QR code's data is redundant, so the code can still be read even if part of it is damaged, dirty, or covered. L is the lowest redundancy, H the highest, and higher levels make the code slightly denser but more resilient.
Is it safe to add a logo to my QR code?
Yes, as long as the logo doesn't cover too much of the code. This tool caps the logo at roughly 20% of the code's area and automatically recommends the high (H) error-correction level when a logo is present, since that level tolerates the most obstruction.
Should I test the QR code before printing it?
Always scan your final QR code with a couple of different phone cameras or scanner apps before printing it at scale, especially if you've added a logo or used low-contrast colors.
Does this tool send my data anywhere?
No. The QR code is generated entirely in your browser using the qrcode library loaded on demand, and the text you enter never leaves your device.
Can I use light-colored text on a dark background?
Yes, pick any foreground/background color combination, but keep enough contrast between them. Low-contrast QR codes are much harder for cameras to scan reliably.
