SQLite Viewer
Upload a .sqlite, .db, or .sqlite3 file to instantly see every table it contains. Click a table to preview its rows, or write your own read-only SELECT query to filter, join, or aggregate the data exactly how you need. Powered by sql.js, a WebAssembly build of SQLite that runs entirely client-side.

How it works
- 1
Upload a .sqlite, .db, or .sqlite3 file, or drag and drop it onto the page.
- 2
Every table in the database appears as a tab - click one to preview its rows.
- 3
Alternatively, write your own read-only SELECT, WITH, PRAGMA, or EXPLAIN query.
- 4
Results are rendered instantly as a table, with clear errors if the file or query is invalid.
Inspect a SQLite file without installing anything
SQLite databases power everything from mobile apps to browser extensions to local caches, but peeking inside one usually means installing a database client or a command-line tool. This viewer opens a .sqlite or .db file in your browser tab, letting you list tables and run queries with no setup.
Real SQL, running entirely client-side
This isn't a simplified table viewer. It's the actual SQLite engine compiled to WebAssembly via sql.js, so any read-only query you'd normally run against a SQLite database (joins, aggregates, filters) works the same way here, with the added safety of read-only enforcement.
Frequently asked questions
Is my database file uploaded to a server?
No. The file is loaded entirely in your browser using sql.js, a WebAssembly build of SQLite compiled to run in JavaScript, and your database never leaves your device.
Can I run INSERT, UPDATE, or DELETE statements?
No, only read-only statements are allowed: SELECT, WITH (common table expressions), PRAGMA, and EXPLAIN. This keeps the tool safe for inspecting a database without any risk of modifying it.
Can I run more than one SQL statement at once?
No, statement chaining (separating multiple statements with semicolons) is rejected. Run one query at a time to keep results predictable.
What happens if I upload a corrupted or non-SQLite file?
The tool will show a clear error message instead of crashing, since sql.js validates the file header before attempting to open it as a database.
How many rows are shown when previewing a table?
Table previews are capped at 200 rows for readability and performance; use a custom SELECT with your own LIMIT and WHERE clauses to see a different slice of the data.
