AI Music Sanitizer

Upload an AI-generated track, choose a cleaning preset or tune the DSP filters, compare the sanitized result with the original, and export a metadata-free WAV or MP3. Everything runs locally in your browser with the Web Audio API.

How it works

  1. 1

Upload an audio file (MP3, WAV, OGG, M4A, FLAC).

  2. 2

Pick a cleaning preset or adjust low-pass, high-pass, speed drift and dither.

  3. 3

Compare the sanitized and original versions while watching the live spectrum.

  4. 4

Download the cleaned track as WAV or 320 kbps MP3.

Clean your tracks before sharing

Generated audio often carries metadata tags and inaudible high-frequency content. This tool rebuilds the track from raw samples, applies configurable filtering, and lets you check the difference by ear before exporting.

What is inside a generated audio file

Besides audio, MP3 files carry ID3 tags (title, artist, comments, sometimes a generator or prompt string), and WAV, FLAC and OGG files use their own chunks or Vorbis comments. Some generators also mix in content above 18 kHz that people cannot hear but that analysis tools can detect. The spectrum view lets you see that band and check whether your filter removed it.

Choosing filter settings

A low-pass filter set near 18-20 kHz removes the ultrasonic band with little audible effect on most music. A gentle high-pass cuts inaudible rumble. The tiny speed drift (well under 1%) and dither alter sample values without a noticeable pitch change; raise them only if you can still accept the sound in the A/B preview.

Limits you should know about

Decoding and re-encoding cannot recover quality: MP3 export is lossy, so keep a WAV master if you plan further editing. Watermarks embedded in the audible range are built to survive filtering and may remain. Platform rules also differ, so check the terms of the service you upload to.

Frequently asked questions

Is my audio uploaded anywhere?

No. Decoding, filtering and encoding all happen in your browser, so the file never leaves your device.

What does the tool actually remove?

The file is decoded to raw audio, which drops all ID3/Vorbis tags, then high/low-pass filters, a tiny speed shift and dither are applied to alter ultrasonic and sample-level content.

Does it guarantee detectors won't recognise the track?

No. It removes metadata and inaudible bands, but robust watermarking schemes may survive, so treat the result as best-effort cleaning.

WAV or MP3?

WAV is lossless and exports instantly; MP3 at 320 kbps is much smaller but re-encodes the audio.
