From a web asset to a printable mesh

GLB models from a web library, game asset pack or AR project often need to go through a slicer before they can be 3D printed, and slicers overwhelmingly expect STL. This tool bridges that gap in one step, entirely in the browser.

Powered by three.js, right in the page

This tool uses three.js's GLTFLoader to parse the file and its STLExporter to write the binary STL, loaded on demand via a dynamic import so the rest of the site stays fast for everyone else.

Frequently asked questions

Will colors or textures carry over to the STL?

No, STL only stores raw triangle geometry, so any materials, textures or vertex colors from the GLB are not included.

Is the model watertight / print-ready after conversion?

Converting to STL doesn't fix geometry issues. If the source GLB has holes, inverted normals or non-manifold edges, those carry into the STL and your slicer may still flag them.

Why convert GLB to STL?

GLB is built for the web and AR, not for 3D printing; most slicers (Cura, PrusaSlicer, Bambu Studio...) expect STL or 3MF, so converting makes a web-sourced model printable.

Is my 3D model uploaded anywhere?

No. Parsing and conversion happen in your browser with three.js, so the file never leaves your device.
