3D Model Resizer
Drop a 3D model, choose a uniform scale factor or a target maximum dimension, and this tool resizes the mesh accordingly and re-exports it as a binary .glb file. Useful for matching a real-world size before 3D printing, or fitting a model into a game or AR scene's expected scale. Everything runs locally with three.js; the model is never uploaded.

How it works
- 1
Drop or select a 3D model in any supported format.
- 2
Choose either a scale factor (e.g. 2x) or a target maximum dimension in model units.
- 3
The tool scales the mesh uniformly and recomputes its bounding box.
- 4
Preview the before/after size and download the resized .glb.
Two ways to think about size
Sometimes you know the exact multiplier you need (scale factor); other times you know the real limit you must fit within, like a printer bed or a game asset's expected footprint (target max dimension). This tool supports both without requiring you to do the math yourself.
A quick fix before printing or importing
A model downloaded from one source often isn't scaled to match your printer, engine or scene. Instead of reopening it in a full 3D suite just to resize it, this tool handles the scale and re-export in one step, in the browser.
Frequently asked questions
Does this scale uniformly on all axes?
Yes, the same factor is applied to X, Y and Z so proportions stay correct. There's no separate per-axis stretching.
What unit does 'target max dimension' use?
Whatever unit the source model already uses, often meters for GLB/GLTF or millimeters for STL from a 3D-printing tool. The tool scales relative to the model's own existing bounding box; it doesn't know real-world units on its own.
Why would I need to resize a 3D model?
Common reasons include making an STL fit your 3D printer's build volume, matching a GLB's scale to a game engine's unit system, or normalizing differently-scaled assets from multiple sources.
Is my 3D model uploaded anywhere?
No. Parsing, scaling and exporting happen in your browser using three.js, so the file never leaves your device.
