GLB to USDZ Converter
Drop a .glb or .gltf file and this tool parses it with three.js's GLTFLoader, then re-exports the scene as a .usdz file, the format iOS Safari and other Apple apps use to show a model in AR Quick Look with just a tap, no app required. The conversion happens in your browser, so nothing gets uploaded.

How it works
- 1
Drop or select a .glb or .gltf file.
- 2
The tool parses the scene with three.js's GLTFLoader.
- 3
The scene is re-exported as a .usdz package using three.js's USDZExporter.
- 4
Preview the model and download the .usdz for use on iOS/Safari AR Quick Look.
One model, both ecosystems
GLB covers the web, Android and most game engines, while USDZ is what Apple's AR Quick Look needs to preview a model in a user's physical space without installing an app. Converting lets you ship one 3D asset that works everywhere.
Powered by three.js, right in the page
This tool uses three.js's GLTFLoader to parse the file and its USDZExporter to write the AR package, loaded on demand via a dynamic import so the rest of the site stays fast for everyone else.
Frequently asked questions
Will this USDZ open directly in AR Quick Look on iPhone/iPad?
Yes, the exported .usdz follows the structure Safari and Apple apps expect for AR Quick Look, so tapping a link to the file on a compatible iOS device should open the AR preview directly.
Why convert GLB to USDZ?
GLB is the cross-platform 3D web standard, but iOS's built-in AR Quick Look specifically expects USDZ, so converting lets a model built for the open web also work on Apple devices.
Are animations included?
This tool focuses on exporting the static mesh and materials; it does not carry GLTF animation clips into the USDZ output.
Is my 3D model uploaded anywhere?
No. Parsing and conversion happen in your browser with three.js, so the file never leaves your device.
